I am Danielle and I am majoring Media Design and minoring in Film Studies. I love the movies and everything about it because movies are "the stuff dreams are made of." I get so involved in analyzing and deciphering films because I love the underlining subtext that films have to offer. To me, films are like really good books that you can't put down. Films de-stresses me from everyday stressors and makes me sane. So everyone, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful semester!

Introduction!
I'm Danielle and I can't wait to share my thoughts and perspectives about movies!
A little bit more about my love for the movies:
I have lots of favorite movies from different genres, but I really love "Casablanca," "Pride and Prejudice (2005)," and "Stardust." These films are some of my top films that I still watch from this day and I never get tired of them.
One of my favorite quotes in film is "Here's looking at you, kid." -Rick from Casablanca.
When I characterize a movie a "great film," it must transport me into a whole new world. The film also must create realistic emotions the audience can relate to. Lastly, the film must have thoughtful film subtext in plot and film techniques.
